Purchased in 1972, the Comma van was used for daily parcel deliveries from Brighton to London and remained at the heart of our growing fleet until sold in 1976.
Brighton to London deliveries formed the core of our freight movements in the 1970’s and 1980’s while expansion was underway with the introduction of services to other parts of the UK

By 1992 we were offering a total National and European roadfreight solution. The worldwide export and import arm was added in 1994 and strategic partnerships with major airlines, shipping lines and forwarding agents, allowed us to offer a worldwide service to and from almost anywhere in the world.

1998 saw the opening of our first purpose built premises that we now occupy, giving us the opportunity to offer our clients a full warehousing and pick & pack service; the last link in the logistics chain.
In 2011 Brighton Carriers was purchased from the Cowley family by Courier Express. The result of which led to considerable investment in vehicles, staff and warehousing to faciliate further growth
